*Note: Groups are not active at this time.*
Group sessions last for 60 minutes. Group therapy provides an opportunity to connect with other individuals, process life events, and develop new coping skills. Group therapy can be a strong complement to individual therapy.
This group will run for 6 weeks. Each week we will practice a new mindfulness exercise, and using a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach, we will discuss integrating mindfulness into daily life.
This group will run for 8 weeks and will provide a space to process grief in a group setting. Each week there will be a new activity designed to facilitate discussion and to facilitate the group process around the topic of grieving.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Group
This group will run for 6 weeks, and will address Cognitive-Behavioral techniques for coping skills in a group setting. Each week will discuss an aspect of CBT and how group members may apply the coping skill to their daily lives outside of group. This group focuses on the ways we think, the things we tell ourselves, and the ways we cope with the problems we face on a daily basis.
Groups are intended for individuals 18 and older.
If you have questions about any of these groups or would like to sign up, please call Johanna Bond, LMHC, NCC, at (585)406-3012.
