Johanna Bond is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and writer living in Rochester, New York.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Swarthmore College and her Master’s degree in mental health counseling at the Warner School of Education, University of Rochester.
Johanna uses cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, as well as motivational interviewing techniques, mindfulness, narrative therapy techniques, interpersonal therapy techniques and internal family systems techniques in her approach to counseling. She has a deep sense of curiosity and appreciation for the stories individuals share with her from their lives, and strong confidence in the healing strength that comes from sharing space and sharing stories. She will work to balance challenging you and supporting you in the counseling process.
